Say What?!

The year has only just begun but it would appear that I am being greatly blessed.  So much so that I am at an awe at how things are going for me.

Several weeks ago, I joined yet another competition. Yes, I am certainly persistent beyond compare despite having won a couple of them already. I guess, it is just in my nature to join and compete and hopefully get a positive result.

Sure, there are times when I may lose the contest but that’s the wheel of the world.  One can, as they say, never be on top forever.  However, to have won for the third time at another contest, no matter how small (or even useless) the contest may be to some.  It is, as always, a big deal for me.

What contest is this that I have gone out of way to post it in my blog? Is this some sort of big competition?  Well, the answer is that it isn’t a big competition. It was just a competition to win a pair of tickets to some local concert.  Now, some may be thinking: ‘You’re ecstatic about something like that?’ or ‘You call that a blessing?’.  Well, yes. Of course!

Blessings come in all shapes and sizes and all sorts of packages. The little things, the small things or the grand — all that we recieve are blessings.  At least, that’s what I firmly believe.

I’m happy that I won a pair of tickets for the Beyond Animax concert. I mean, come on. It’s not everyday that I win something like that.  Heck, this is the first time I ever won tickets on anything.

They say ‘third time’s the charm’ and I am hoping that this won’t be the last.  I have one more contest still waiting. One more result I need to know and hopefully the result would be as good as the results of the previous contests that I have joined.

There is nothing more that I enjoy doing than reading books and writing. I'm kind of a nerd like that, XD. I have been writing for 7 years and am the author of the YA novel "Winged: The Awakening" and "Winged: The Unraveling". Also, a YouTuber dealing with video games and gaming.
