Well, today, I finally managed to pay the Graduation Fees despite having fallen late in doing so. It’s a good thing I wasn’t reprimanded because of that, I am really thankful that our school registrar is very understanding in regards to the reason why I wasn’t able to comply any sooner (Curse you fever and my abominable helplessness at that time). Anyways, that’s not only the big news as to the reason why I decided to post in this lil’ blog o’ mine (…that sounded wierd…).
It has been such an eventful (and quite tiring day) today. I went to school to finish my clearance and get my grades (which were great grades, btw, lol… I’m very thankful at the high grade I received from our 2d/3d Animation Professors) early today… around 8am or so. I was a bit nervous since a friend of mine told me that one of our friend (and fellow batchmate who is also graduating) got scolded because of having attempted to pay the Graduation Fee later than the deadline. Of course, thanks to my imagination and to me getting ahead of myself, I concluded that I would get the same amount of scolding (if not more) because I was waaaaayyyy behind the deadline. Thankfully, as I have stated in the previous paragraph, that didn’t happen.
Anyways, when 10am came, we (all Graduating Students) were asked to go to Room 301 for the final meeting for Graduation. So… up we went to that room.
When the meeting started, our school Registrar (who is also the one spear heading the arrangements and so-forth of the graduation) first got the nomination for the Batch Officers off since this particular agenda should have been over and done with during the second meeting but unfortunately, something came up that made the nomination and the completion of the Batch Officers quite an impossible feat.
Anyways, I got appointed (yes, I wasn’t elected perse, but rather pointed out to be) the representative of the CS/IT department. It wasn’t something I have planned nor initially wanted but, I can’t turn it down since I felt that doing so would seem quite rude and no one else wanted to take on the job (as it seems).
So now, I am the Representative of the CS/IT department, a Batch Officer for the 2009 Batch of AMACC graduates…which only complicates things a wee bit, if I may say so.
Initially, I have no plans of attending the graduation party… but now, it seems that I have no choice but to attend. Not only that, but I was also tasked to design a layout for the invitation for the ball which would be held this coming monday. I’m not complaining or anything but because of this, quite a lot of my plans had changed…and have to change.
Anyways, it’s still a week and several days before graduation and I may still be quite busy with a lot of things because of it…and maybe even after it as a new page of my life unfolds. I really miss writing the fanfics that I have left on hold in FFN but, there are some things more important than cyber-life which is, of course, REAL life. I have to focus on those things that are important and I am sure the readers of my fanfic understand this well.
Heck, even the people who are awaiting for the game I am making and the two teams (Suikoden Team and Disgaea Team) that hired me also understand this (apparently, lol) and I am grateful for that, I really am. People in DA also understands this. And my friends from other communities in the cyber world also fully understand how busy I am right now.
Anyways, I plan on studying still after I graduate… maybe take a major in 3d animation and teaching (at the same time). I don’t know yet as this is all still tentative for me (though I am quite certain that I want to teach). I guess, I’ll take things one step at a time and live each day through to the fullest.
Oh well, I think I’ve said enough and written enough to be able to look back on this post and be reminded of what occured today. *yawn* I’m really tired already and I want to sleep but I have to finish the invitation first so that I won’t have any worries later. With that said, I’ll be closing this post for now, until I update next… ja ne!
