Holy Mother of Cheese Cakes! Finally! FINALLY! We get to move on with the whole story. I thought we’d have another filler battle between an anonymous or support character in the series against one of the “undead”. What a relief to see that Kishimoto decided to go on with the damn story.
Sorry about that. XD But, you have to admit that, what with how the story was progressing, Naruto is starting to get dull. Hopefully, this new chapter will be a start of something much, much better than the previous chapters we have been “forced” to read.
Anyways, the five-hundred and thirty-forth chapter of Naruto (that’s 534) is entitled, “Farewell, Ino-Shika-Chou!” (exclamation point included) and it closes the battle between Master and Students–between Asuma and Ino, Shikamaru, and Chouji. It is, for all it’s worth, a quick battle with Chouji at the center of it all.
Of course, the chapter doesn’t just revolve around them. At the end of the chapter, we finally get a glimpse of Naruto as he begins to realize that something is up–having felt Asuma’s chakra as well as the Nine-Tails’ chakra. As he makes his way out, he is stopped by Shino’s dad and…(surprise, surprise)…a very serious-looking Iruka! (Dun-dun-dun-duuuhhhh).
The question now is, what will Iruka tell Naruto? Will he let Naruto fight in the war or will he and Naruto fight as Naruto tries to get out of his “prison”? I’m leaning on the latter, but I am a bit of a skeptic with that. There’s bound to be a third option in this…either way, we will probably get to see another effing battle.
Anyways, you can read this chapter on over our online manga viewer.
That’s it for Naruto. Until the next post, dream on; fly on!
