Day 66: County Line

Oh, yeah!  Country music for the win!

*Ahem* Forgive that little outburst there.  Just watched Lauren and Scotty’s performance on idol and I am still psyched.  Hope those two make it through to the coveted Top 4 of the tenth season of American Idol.

Anyways, enough about that and the awesomeness that is Lauren and Scotty.  Let’s get down to business.

Our sixty-sixth song is another one from Sugarland.  It’s called County Line and it’s your typical, country song.

I don’t really have some zen-like input as to why I like this song (I’m just like that, you know.  I simply hate or like something because I hate or like it, XD).  So, uh…there.

Below are the lyrics to this song.  Fingers crossed for Lauren and Scotty and all the McLaina fans.  Hope our bets get through to the next round.

Until the next post, dream on; fly on!

There’s a place I like to go
Cherry bombs and cherry wine
Just past the Texaco
Down on the county line

Beer cans and cemetaries
Spanish moss on a welcome sign
Catch a buzz we all get scary
Down on the county line

Out where your troubles can’t find you
Out where you leave them all behind
Out where the moons shines sweetly
Won’t you meet me
Down on the county line

Kettle corn and 4-H fairs
Pink slips and white wall tires
Bet you 20 I’ll beat you there
Down on the county line

First love and football wars
French kiss and battle cries
Further than I’ve been before
Down on the county line

Out where your troubles can’t find you
Out where you leave them all behind
Out where the moons shines sweetly
Won’t you meet me
Down on the county line

All the church yards and white wash fences
All the widows and teenage brides
We’re all searching for redemption
We’re all looking for a sign

Down on the county line,
(Down on the county line,)
Down on the county line,
(Down on the county line)
Down on the county line,

The best things in life are free
It’s been right here all the time
It’s everything that’s home to me
Down on the county line

Out where your troubles can’t find you
Out where you leave them all behind
Out where the moons shines sweetly
Won’t you meet me
Down on the county line

Out where your troubles cant find ya
Out where we have a real good time
Out where the moon shines sweetly
Won’t you meet me
Down on the county line?
(Down on the county line,)
Down on the county line,
(Down on the county line,)
Down on the county line,

There is nothing more that I enjoy doing than reading books and writing. I'm kind of a nerd like that, XD. I have been writing for 7 years and am the author of the YA novel "Winged: The Awakening" and "Winged: The Unraveling". Also, a YouTuber dealing with video games and gaming.
