I have been a fan of NCIS ever since my dad and I came across it one afternoon while searching for something good to watch. My dad and I fell in love with the show and had been following it ever since.
That is why I am so happy to know that NCIS will get its very own video game! Yes, you read that right. Ubisoft and CBS have announced the development of an all-new video game based on the top-rated drama series, NCIS. Players will be able to step into the role of their favourite characters from the show as they question witnesses, search for clues and solve cases. Something, I hope, along the lines of LA Noire, another detective-game that is among my list of favorites (I wasn’t too happy with the CSI games, mind you).
We won’t have to wait long, as the game is scheduled to ship at the end of October for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Windows PC. I sure as hell would be waiting for this at our local video game store, particularly Datablitz considering how much Toy Kingdom sells these stuff compared to aforementioned store.
On another story, Sony, in conjunction with Random House, is planning to release a novel based on the adventures of Uncharted protagonist, Nathan Drake. There’s also a comic book miniseries in the works from DC.
Renowned horror author, Christopher Golden, wrote the book and had fun working with Naughty Dog’s popular protagonist. “I had a blast writing Uncharted: The Fourth Labyrinth,” said Golden. “Mystery, suspense, mythology, pulp action, sinister plots, beautiful women, and treasure – when it comes to the world of Nathan Drake, what’s not to love?”
The new comic series will have Drake hunting for the legendary Amber Room hidden by explorer Sir Richard Byrd in the legendary city of Agartha, and the adventure will lead Drake to the center of the Earth.
The novel will arrive in paperback and eBook format on October 4, while comic book fans will have to wait until November 30.
