It has been a long, long time since I first finished the script for the Chronicles of Endlessia game. A lot of things had happened since then. So many things that forced me to put the project on hiatus for a very long time.
Which is why I am happy to announce that I am working on the game once again, starting from scratch (save for the story which will remain as is). I’ve decided to release the game in an episodic format and will try to release one episode per week (or per month, depending on how long the episode will be). Of course, right now, I’m merely letting you guys know about it and am in no way ready to release a “beta”.
That being said, I need a lot of stuff to be able to complete this game (which I am developing on my own). There’s custom graphics, music, there’s the testing, the debugging, and all sorts of things that will, at best, allow me to release the first game/episode sometime next month or the month after that. Of course, that still depends on whether the current version of the game that I am working on is riddled with bugs or not.
I will post updates when they come but for now, all I can say is that the story is finished and I am in the process of simply programming the events. What features the game will have is still, at this point, being debated though the battle system will, probably, be something similar to Dragon Quest games (meaning they will be front-view battle systems).
I may need some help with this later on, so for those interested in helping, please let me know. I’m probably going to need artists, and spriters, and beta-testers (beta-testers on a much later date) so…yeah…
