Day 14: Wait and See

Hope.  It’s a powerful thing.

Hope makes you believe in the future even when everything seems to be falling apart.  Hope makes you look at a brand new day with a renewed spirit.  Hope keeps us from giving up on what matters most to us.

Hope is a gift and it is freely given to all.  Hope is always there, even in the blackest of nights.  With how the world is going, it’s easy to say that without hope, I doubt any of us would get much further.

Hope is what I got from listening to this track from Brandon Heath called ‘Wait and See‘.

This song tells us that no matter what our pasts are, there is always hope to be a better person.  We can be a better person because God made us capable of change and he always wishes the best for us, his children.  It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe in God; God believes in you.

I suppose that’s why I don’t like it when someone tells somebody else that they are the worst and that they wouldn’t amount to anything.  Because nobody knows what your future will be like.  Not even you.

No matter how ‘bad’ you seem to be, as this songs says, there’s hope for you yet because God will not forget all the plans he has made for you.  You just have to wait and see.  He’s not finished with you yet.

Below is the lyrics to this uplifting song.

Until the next post, dream on; fly on!

I was born in Tennessee
Late July humidity
Doctor said I was lucky to be alive

I’ve been trouble since the day that I got here
Trouble till the day that I disappear
That’ll be the day that I finally get it right

There is hope for me yet
Because God won’t forget
All the plans he’s made for me
I have to wait and see
He’s not finished with me yet

I never really was that good in school
I talked too much, broke the rules
Teacher thought I was hopeless fool alright

I don’t know how but I made it through
It’s one of those things that you’ve gotta do
But I always had a knack for telling the truth

There is hope for me yet
Because God won’t forget
All the plans he’s made for me
I have to wait and see
He’s not finished with me yet

Still wondering why I’m here
Still wrestling with my fear
But oh, He’s up to something
And the farther on I go
I’ve seen enough to know
That I’m, not here for nothing
He’s up to something

So now’s my time to be a man
Follow my heart as far as I can
No telling where I’m ending up tonight
I never slow down or so it seems
But singing my heart it’s one of my dreams
All I gotta do is hold on tight

There is hope for me yet
Because God won’t forget
All the plans he’s made for me
I have to wait and see
He’s not finished with me yet

There is nothing more that I enjoy doing than reading books and writing. I'm kind of a nerd like that, XD. I have been writing for 7 years and am the author of the YA novel "Winged: The Awakening" and "Winged: The Unraveling". Also, a YouTuber dealing with video games and gaming.
