Summary: These are the extra chapters, the contents of the disk that Daniel and his drang found while in Void’s game. Do not read this unless you’ve read the whole fanfic! You have been warned. For reviews, comments, criticisms regarding these recordings, you can use the comment box below this post. Daniel X: Game Over The Recordings Disk Two: The Lessons Sorry about that, Daniel. I ran out of space on the disk. You would have thought that since this was an alien-tech disk we’re using it would house a much longer recording than that. Well, under (read more…)

For reviews, comments, criticisms regarding these recordings, you can use the comment box below this post. Daniel X: Game Over The Recordings Disk One: The Reason Hello, Daniel X. If you are listening to these recordings then that would mean either of two things: you have nothing to do and are reminiscing about The Game and what you have learned there, or (read more…)

As promised, there are three ‘extra’ or ‘special’ chapters to my fanfic, Daniel X: Game Over. These chapters are exclusive SnK chapters–meaning you won’t be able to read them anywhere else. Not even in my tumblr blog. You don’t particularly need to read these chapters in order to understand what happens in the sequel. However, if you want to have a little bit of closure–learn Void’s history, his reasoning, and the back story behind the game, then you won’t want to bypass these chapters. ‘The Terminal Disks’, which is what these chapters are called, are the first of (read more…)

Writing a fan fiction is never easy, especially if the story you had in mind has a serious note to it. It takes time, patience (a whole lot of it, in fact!), a couple (or two, or more) inspiration, and a clear direction of where you want it to go. That rings true even when you are writing an original and not just a fanfic. There would be times when a writer would hit that abominable wall called “a writer’s block” or times when she (or he) would feel tired of continuing on with the story. Abandoning a story is (read more…)

I have now read forty-three chapters of Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and there are still a lot more chapters left. I want to share said forty-third chapter to you guys. It is entitled Become an Antrophologist and this is what Richard Carlson has to say about it: Anthropology is a science dealing with man and his origins. In this strategy, however, I’ll conveniently redefine anthropology as “being interested, without judgment, in the way other people choose to live and behave.” This strategy is geared toward developing your compassion, as well as a way of becoming more patient. Beyond that, however, being (read more…)

So, it has come to the point where I only need to publish one more chapter and I can finally change the status of Daniel X: Game Over as ‘Complete’. This chapter that had just been released on FFN (which you can read here) can be considered an ending to the fanfic, too. I could have easily stopped it here to keep it open for a sequel but, I figured an Epilogue chapter wouldn’t be so bad and that it would bridge this fanfic and the next. The Epilogue chapter, of course, will be published tomorrow. Until then, I hope readers (read more…)

Even though I already have the final book of the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, I still haven’t started reading it–what with so many of the other things I had to do, plus I told my dad he could bring it with him and read it first. So, I am still stuck with Richard Carlson’s Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff and I am not really complaining about it. Most people don’t know about this book (DStSS, not the Inheritance Cycle), so I think it not only helps me but others as well when I post snippets from the books–chapters that I (read more…)
