The Revival of Project Endlessia

The Revival of Project Endlessia

It has been a long, long time since I first finished the script for the Chronicles of Endlessia game.  A lot of things had happened since then.  So many things that forced me to put the project on hiatus for a very long time. Which is why I am happy to announce that I am working on the game once again, starting from scratch (save for the story which will remain as is).  I’ve decided to release the game in an episodic format and will try to release one episode per week (or per month, depending on how long the (read more…)

Vita’s World-Wide Release Date Announced!

Vita’s World-Wide Release Date Announced!

Sony President & CEO Jack Tretton used the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco to announce the worldwide release date of their Vita handheld. While the venue of the announcement doesn’t make much sense to me either, we now know that the Vita will be available in stores on February 22, 2012. The Vita will be available in two different versions, a Wi-Fi only edition (priced at US$249.99) and a Wi-Fi/3G version (priced at US$299.99). Sony isn’t yet ready to talk specific launch titles, but they did reveal that there are over 100 Vita games in development including Sound Shapes, (read more…)

DCTP Working on Conan Game

DCTP Working on Conan Game

We all know that the Japanese Gamers and Gamers who know  how to read Japanese are mostly lucky when it comes to video games.  The Japanese gaming industry has a wide range of A+ games that would make other less-fortunate Gamers’ mouths to water.  These Japanese-only games are less likely to be localized (made available for the US and English-speaking countries) unless, of course, you port them. Most of the time (if not all of the time), these Japanese games are also much, much, much better than the games that North American and European developers release.  And, should there be a (read more…)

Second Round of Beta-Reading for Winged

The second round of beta-reading for “Winged: The Awakening” has begun. To those who were beta-readers before (and who had managed to send me their review) please contact me as to obtain the edited draft of the book for beta-reading.  The same guidelines from before applies to this round. You can find the questionnaires here and here. Questions regarding beta-reading are welcomed.  Just post a comment and I’ll try to answer these questions. The deadline for the reviews for this round is on March 26, 2011.  Also, I have a new cover-art for the book.  Which was done by my very (read more…)

First Round of Beta Reading Now Over

Okay, so after almost a week and two days, I am putting an end to the first round of beta reading for “Winged, Book 1: The Awakening”.  Sadly, I only got two reviews.  Well, two great and detailed reviews that I could use to make the book better. Having said that, I am going to start working on the edits for the draft tomorrow (I still have to finish Winged and Wizard 2: The Gift, hehe) and hopefully I’ll be able to complete it within the week (or so) for the second round of beta-reading. A big thanks to the (read more…)

Final Day For The First Round of Beta Reading!

Okay, so it has already been a week (and a day) since I gave a couple of people the draft of “Winged” and have them beta read and review it.  I have also given them a list of questions that they’re supposed to answer to help make the story better (check previous posts: Reviewing the First Book of Winged and A Broader and Comprehensive List of Questions For Reviewers).  I would have loved to extend the deadline for the submission of reviews, unfortunately, I can’t do that.  I am following a strict schedule (sort of). So far, I have only (read more…)

A Broader and Comprehensive List of Questions for Reviewers

I know I have posted a couple of questions for my five reviewers to answer but I figured it would be more helpful if I add some more.  Hence, this post.  It would really help if they get to answer these when they are reviewing the draft. General Points Did you enjoy the book overall? Would you recommend it to a friend? What genre would you class it as (Comedy, Horror, Young Adult etc)? Which character did you most sympathise with? Which character was the most interesting to read about? Was the plot line easy to follow? Was it confusing (read more…)
