I have always been a fan of a good animated film, and by “good” I don’t just mean well-animated with jaw-dropping visual effects. I lean more on the story, and the moral of it. Dreamworks have always been among my favorite when it comes to animated films. They are, after all, the only studio who gave a chance for biblical stories to be made into a movie like The Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams–both of which are among the top of my favorite list. Hope. It’s a powerful thing. Hope makes you believe in the future even when everything seems to be falling apart. Hope makes you look at a brand new day with a renewed spirit. Hope keeps us from giving up on what matters most to us. Hope is a gift and it is freely given to all. Hope is always there, even in the blackest of nights. I was never really a fan of rock. Sure I listen to rock songs occasionally but I only do so if–and when–the song actually has something to say; a message that is meant to inspire. The song we have today is from the Christian Rock genre. Sung by one of my current favorites, The Afters. ”We Won’t Give Up” actually feels sort of like a good theme song for me right now. You know what’s lacking in popular radio stations right now? Positive music! And, that is the reason why my choices are currently veering into the direction of trying to find music that are uplifting and positive.
