I don’t know how long I’ve been keeping Sakura no Kokoro like this. I can’t even remember when I first started using this theme and just moving things around as a lame attempt to update. You see, I’ve been trying to put updating the look of this blog for some time now and it’s not because I’m feeling lazy about it. Nope. Nuh-uh. The reason why the layout has remained stagnant for quite a long time now is because I have been busy with a couple of things, the first on that list is the YA novel that I wrote (read more…)

SnK Changes
Apparently, the drama that started when my website was hacked didn’t end when I thought it would. Merely hours after I have been notified that the website should be in working order, having been restored from a previous backup, SnK experienced a mountain of other problems that hindered me from updating and caused me what appeared to be (at that time) endless frustrations. As it turned out, the person who hacked my website also added malware to my images. So, when JWH helped with disinfecting my account, all the images that were infected were deleted. Being as I didn’t want (read more…)

Okay, first off, I apologize for the icky title I used for this post but… Gyaah! Website’s finally fixed. That was one heck of a horrendous comeback from the Holy Week…having my website hacked by some person-slash-group-whatever who doesn’t seem to have nothing better to do. But, what can you do. The past is the past. What’s done is done. All we can do is move forward, right? But, yeah…Sakura no Kokoro was hacked and no one informed me about it…which is why it took much longer to fix than if I had been informed. Really not happy about that. The (read more…)

It’s been one heck of a Friday today. Been pretty busy and I am still not feeling all that great–although, the headaches have stopped temporarily, it seems. But, the point of this post is not to discuss my “health issues” (if you guys want to call it that). This is, rather, an update regarding the problems SnK is currently experiencing thanks to whatever the hell it is JollyWorks hosting has done. The problems arose after the Echelon server went down and back up again. For whatever reason, whatever it is they did messed up with my plugins and, in general, (read more…)

I really have no idea how this happened but…it seems like JollyWorks Hosting messed up my website with whatever it was they did on their servers when Echelon was down yesterday, so now, my website–Sakura no Kokoro–is experiencing a lot of problems which mostly includes my plugins and uploading images and files to post and to my Manga Viewer. It’s all very frustrating. I’ve already asked their help and hopefully it will be fixed before the week ends. If not…well, this would probably be the last time I use their service…better start looking for alternatives now. Anyways, because of whatever it (read more…)
Read more100 Days of Music Challenge, Cycle 2
I probably should have started this at the same time when the eleventh season of American Idol started but, I didn’t. I suppose I was still putting this off in favor of the dozens of other projects that I currently have in queue. I won’t go into detail what those projects are since (a) there are so many of them and I would rather unveil them at the right time and (b) this post isn’t about said projects but of the second cycle for the 100 Days of Music Challenge. If you guys could recall, I started this challenge last (read more…)

To start this post off, let me ask just one question: Seriously, what is up with these acronyms? If you’ve heard about SOPA and PIPA (which, I am sure you have, after all, it was all over the news during the blackout last January 18), then you have probably heard about ACTA–Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. If not, then let me give a little background on this. ACTA is sort of a big brother to SOPA and PIPA. It is an international treaty that threatens free speech and your privacy online. Imagine if your ISP could censor their networks, police what you did (read more…)
