It wasn’t just a dream–that was what Takuya and Izumi learn after the whole fiasco with Chronosmon. They may have won the battle then, but Takuya is far from danger as they learn that he was infected by sickness from their recent escapade. A sickness threatens to destroy the person that is Takuya by completely turning him into Flamon and erasing his existence from the memories of everyone he had met and loves. The only way to stop it from happening is if they could locate the cure at the Cyber Wolrd–the Digital World’s parallel universe.
Now Takuya and Izumi must fight their way in the Cyber World while their friends have their own battle to contend with in the Digital World. In the end, the fate of all that hangs in the balance resides within Kouichi–the only person whose memories were not lost, and Yumi–Takuya and Izumi’s future daughter whose existence is also in the brink of destruction.
This fanfic is first published January 6, 2005. It was completed on December 30,2009 with 62 chapters–making it one of the longest running and longest fanfiction I have ever written.
